Light well House Raised on North and East Side
House is located on the end of a narrow lane, and is surrounded by retaining walls of adjacent sites which are raised on north and east side. Therefore, the house which stands on such sunken site has many light wells which are randomly planed. The light wells are same size and same square tube shape, and are also structure to support a roof. On ground floor, each light well which has different angles frames the sky randomly along with different positions. On first floor, the light wells penetrate through the space of the floor. It is intended to make residents think usage of the space and activity.via
